Public Invited to Provide Input on Proposed NC 98 Improvements

You are invited to attend the last set of public meetings for the N.C. 98 Corridor Study. The N.C. 98 Corridor Study is 27-miles long, extending from U.S. 70 in Durham County through Wake County to U.S. 401 in Franklin County, North Carolina.  This project will evaluate safety, congestion, planned and existing roads, bicycle/pedestrian facilities and transit use on N.C. 98. 

The public meetings will be held in an “open house” format; there will not be a formal presentation. Citizens are invited to attend any time between the hours listed below to view conceptual designs for N.C. 98 and ask questions.

This study is the first step in planning for future transportation needs on N.C. 98. This will be the last round of public meetings for the N.C. 98 Corridor Study as it will conclude this summer.

Persons who speak Spanish and do not speak English, or have a limited ability to read, speak or understand English, may receive interpretive services upon request prior to the meeting by calling 704-342-5419.
