Section 5310 Grant: Enhanced Mobility of Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities

Applications are now being received by the DCHC MPO for the FTA Section 5310 grant

Application Deadline: August 19, 2022

Program Goal: To improve mobility for seniors and individuals with disabilities by removing barriers to transportation service and expanding transportation mobility options. 

Who May Apply: 

1. An operator of public transportation that will receive a grant indirectly through a recipient;  
2. A private non-profit organization; or
3. A state or local government authority that:
   1. Is approved by the state to coordinate services for seniors and individuals with disabilities; or
   2. Certifies that there are no non-profit organizations readily available in the area to provide that service
