The DCHC MPO partners with several regional agencies to develop plans, prioritize projects, ensure infrastructure continuity at boundary areas, and coordinate the regional transportation system.

Central Pines Regional Council (the regional council for the local governments in Chatham, Durham, Johnston, Lee, Moore, Orange, and Wake counties.)

The Institute for Transportation Research and Education at North Carolina State University (home of the Triangle Regional Model (TRM) – the travel demand model tool used by the MPO and other agencies.)
