This web page provides a compilation of public comments, and the draft report and conceptual designs for the US 15-501 Corridor Study from late 2020.  The DCHC MPO has not adopted the draft plan because the MPO board and several community groups want significant changes to the proposed facilities in the Chapel Hill section and the I-40/US 15-501 interchange section.  The MPO staff is working with local government staff, the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT), and consultants to determine the next steps in a process to adopt a final plan.
